Give this world a reason

Make this a moment precious
Because you're living in this one world spacious
Take all there is, never hide
Give your heart until you reach the other side

There's no need to feel ashamed
Nothing fully dies, it’s never too late
For I’ll be your ever church
Albeit you’re left in the lurch

Give this world a reason
Have patience with life’s season
Share what you have done
For there's so much to come

I will still believe in you
When the world crumbles into dust
When the nothingness leaves you blue
Stays this one spark you can always trust

In this stream of time
Even what seems nugatory
Will be in chime, in perfect rhyme
Will lead your way to inner glory
Be our true witness
A construct of slickness
For there are hurricanes raging
The world's tearing each other apart without ceasing
Until the shadows are sinking
We are brothers in thinking
For thoughts are like breathing
And ever increasing

Give this world a reason
Have patience with life’s season
Share what you have done
For there's still a lot to come

Give all your love
Like a golden dove
Until we feel the calmness
Permeate into our souls

How come the age ends every story?

Feel the innocence of the moment
Feel the laughter
You’re the one
That I look after
Feel the pressure
Trembling
In the halls
Unending
The morning dawning
One last day
A useless warning
There’s no use
In endless walking
There’s so much hope
That has been stolen
How come the sage
Have stopped their talking
Is this a stage
Some means of glory
How come the age
Ends every story
How come the age
Ends every story

Feel the innocence of the moment
Feel the laughter
You’re the one
That I look after
Feel the distance
Fading
There’s so much heat
Devastating
There’s so much need
In eyes of strangers
Who cannot see
Who’s been courageous
Who cannot be
In iron cages
We must not fear
All that awaits us
How come the sage
Have stopped their talking
Is this a stage
Some means of glory
How come the age
Ends every story
How come the age
Ends every story

The fires that I feared

The fires that I feared
How they seem to warm me now
I whisper softly into the night
How I wished you’d hear me now
Take the bow of my confession
Take the words I long to share
Light my morning with your presence
Light my soul with your care
Be the thought that never tires
When your voice speaks oh so clear
From these lips that are a promise
To a day I wished was near

Where nightly mornings quake

The beauty of the wilderness
The ghost I never called
And now it’s coming down to this
The promise has been sold
We walk here in this nothingness
Of fortune yet untold
Of caring in this gracefulness
The daring and the bolt

The pain that never left my side
The mourning of the night
The wounds of each and every fight
How could time set this right

The tender and courageous fate
The abyss of the fairy lake
Was calling from some desert state
Where no one merely prayed
The dispersal of a heavy weight
How come those sweetest blossoms wake
Just that outrageous late
Where nightly mornings quake
